Tips for first time property investors

3 hot tips first-time investors can't afford to ignore:

1. Do your homework. As lucrative as property investment can be, it can devastate and consume if you sink funds in the wrong property.

2. Choose a prime location. Location to schools, tourist attractions, restaurants, shopping, and green spaces should be thought through. Enlist an agent's help to identify suitable postcodes and neighbourhoods.

3. Get a good property manager. Don't cut corners here. Nobody should promise stress-free but the right support can lower stress and make property investment largely hands off.
